Legal Contract Manager Nordic & Baltic to Schneider Electric

We are now looking for a Legal Contract Manager Nordic & Baltic based in Denmark or Sweden!

Do you want to contribute your knowledge to an established team and work on exciting topics? Are you familiar with contract law and construction law and/or public procurement? Then we should get to know each other! As a Legal Contract Manager, you will report to the Head of Legal Nordic & Baltic and become part of a highly dedicated and competent team across the Nordic and Baltic countries, with exposure to clients and projects in these countries.

You will support the Senior Legal Counsels in the day-to-day work of the legal function in SE Denmark, and to a large extent this work will include the delivery of contractual support to the various units in Schneider Electric. The role will also provide opportunities to work on projects in the other Nordic countries.

Primary duties:

• Analyze (public and private) tender documents, identify possible legal risks and propose measures (contract risk, obligations, guarantees, etc.)

• Review and prepare commercial contracts (sales and construction contracts etc.) and present associated risks and suitable solutions

• Support the SE sales and technical project manager in completing the offer phase of our projects

• Assess contracts in relation to our policies and prepare commercial and contractual clarifications for presentation in our proposals to the customer

• Support the Senior Legal Counsels in various reporting tasks related to the SE group’s legal department, legal projects and knowledge management initiatives

The ideal candidate has a Nordic law degree. You have experience from a similar position, with a focus on offer and order processes. You enjoy contract analysis and are comfortable advising technical teams on complex legal issues. You preferably have at least 4 years of relevant professional experience in commercial legal contract management, tender preparation or similar. Experience from a comparable industry is a plus. You have excellent knowledge of contract law, public procurement law and project management.

You are structured, analytical, and purposeful in your approach. Thanks to good communication skills and a flexible mindset, you will find the best solutions for our customers and Schneider Electric. Preferably, you both write and speak fluent Danish and English. Any other Nordic or Baltic language is a plus.
