DPO and Compliance Officer to Verisure Sweden

We are now looking for a DPO & Compliance Officer to join our high-performing Swedish team to support accelerate our continuing fast-paced growth in our Swedish companies. This position will be based in our office in Stockholm and will involve regular trips to Linköping, and occasional travel to our global head office in Geneva and other European cities.
We are now looking for a DPO (Data Protection Office) and compliance officer for Verisure Sweden and its related Swedish sister and daughter companies. You will be responsible to continue to build and drive our data protection culture and to establish and implement our compliance program in Sweden in close cooperation with our global compliance team. The role means that you are the main supporter, point of contact and contributor to Group in GDPR and Compliance issues. DPO and Compliance reports directly to Head of Legal Sweden and have a dotted line reporting to the Group Data Protection Officer.
Your responsibilities as a DPO and Compliance Officer will include identifying, managing, developing, maintaining and implementing efficient and practical work processes and activities compliant with internal policies, processes, and GDPR. You will be training personnel and supporting the organization relating to internal and local regulations, and GDPR. Furthermore, you will be first point of contact with relevant authorities, performing and analyzing new work processes and products, identifying and problem solving regarding new regulations, etc.
Profile and qualifications
We are looking for a successful candidate that will always play with and for the team. We expect you to have a passion to work close to the business. You need to be analytical and a structured thinker, but also driven, service-minded and prone to take initiative and ownership. It is important that you have a solution oriented and business minded approach to the work.
The successful candidate will likely have a law degree or a very strong knowledge of privacy regulations and a minimum 3 years of experience from working preferably with privacy or compliance in a company within the IT, telecom, banking or industrial sector.
For the right candidate, there are good development opportunities to be able to take even greater responsibility in the role in a few years' time, either in the Swedish organization or at the Nordic level.
It is important that you are fluent in both English and Swedish.
