Senior Legal Counsel to Perstorp Group

We are now looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to join our head office in Malmö.

About the role

As Senior Legal Counsel, you will assist and advice Perstorp Group Companies (both Swedish and foreign subsidiaries), units and functions as well as the VP Head of Legal Department in various legal matters. The role is both varied and dynamic, as you will work with a very wide spread of legal matters. You will draft, review and negotiate various commercial agreements but also, for instance, work with financing matters, investments and M&A projects.

The Legal Department is responsible for the group´s overall needs of legal services. Hence you will work close to the business and have daily contact with colleagues both in Sweden and cross-border. You will be part of the Legal Department and report to the VP Head of Legal. The Legal Department comprises five legal counsels and one executive assistant. Our office is located in the city center of Malmö, next to the train station.

What we are looking for

We are looking for a qualified lawyer with a Master of Laws (LL.M) and at least 8 years of experience from an inhouse legal counsel role or reputable law firm. You have a broad foundation in business law and solid experience of working with commercial agreements, such as sales agreements, supplier agreements and distribution agreements. You have excellent language skills in both Swedish and English.

To be successful at Perstorp, you need to be independent, solution-driven, business-minded and care taking. You also possess a high level of integrity. Furthermore, you are confident in your competence and in your decision-making. Your communication skills and team-work abilities are excellent.
